2010
In May of 2010, we released 13 one-year-old crabs back into the Chesapeake Bay.
2011
In May of 2011, we released 16 crabs back into the Chesapeake Bay: 11 one-year-olds and 5 two-year-olds.
2012
In May of 2012, we released 12 crabs back into the Chesapeake Bay: 11 two-year-olds and 1 three-year-old.
2013
In May of 2013 we released 6 crabs back into the Chesapeake Bay, including the final two from our first year of the program.
2014
In May of 2014 we attended the field day release event, but we decided to hold onto our crabs for another year to continue to study them and watch them grow. However, we sure had fun at the field day!
2015
In May of 2015 we released another 22 crabs in the bay! All of them were 1-year-olds.
2016
In June of 2016 we released 33 crabs into the Bay! One of the crabs, "Lucky" (pictured), was from 2014.
